Hi There!

I am a 57 year old, life-loving Christian man who has endured more than his share of losses-including the loss of 2 wives to cancer and stroke before we were even out of our 40’s. Although I absolutely love children, we did not have any of our own and aside from out-of-state relatives and a couple of friends here and there, I am physically alone in this race for survival…except for the company of my unconditionally loving doggio.                                             I signed up for eHarmony and get all kinds of matches, but everyone is so high energy and they just don’t have the “depth” that we do in understanding . Our lives are governed by energy conservation and pacing when we even have energy, so by the time I pack up the camper and get ready to go, I can barely lift the kayak to take it along with me. If I manage, then I am so wiped out that all I can do is rest and take off the next day. I hope that I can find someone who understands these challenges.                                                                                                       I am a happy-go-lucky guy and catch myself singing praise songs sometimes before I have even had my second cup of coffee in the morning. I talk baby talk to my dog and snuggle him as he enthusiastically greets me each morning and I am man enough to show my tender heart without a care. I have an abundance of love and thoughtfulness to share and I will not waste it on users and would love the opportunity to share this loving thoughtfulness on someone special.                        I am retired from a career in Physical Therapy and I do part time missions in Appropriate Technology and Community Medicine. I would like to find some cancer buddies to do level bike rides with and other easy outdoorsy activities. I have kayaks but I need another person to help me load them for our adventure. I am looking for friends first and if romance happens, well that would just be the icing on the cake!                  Come on out and have some fellowship with me and if baking a cake is your thing, we can do that too and see if the icing follows down the line 🙂
