I’m 49, recently diagnosed with metastatic (liver) triple-positive breast cancer, a relapse from a diagnosis and “successful” treatment in 2019. I was a runner, a backpacker, a hiker — and now all feels lost. It seems unlikely I’ll ever do the those things I love again. Hoping to meet others who found their identities in being athletic, active, or sporty before their diagnoses. Looking for ways to have fun and find meaning amid this turbulent upending of my life with others who understand what it’s like.
