Please Note: The system specified that I had to make a choice. I do not have cancer. I am a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, which is a form of blood cancer.  I presently have symptoms from undergoing a transplant due to graft-versus-host disease. I am however, still a survivor.  I have been single for many years, because I was working on my recovery. I am hoping to meet someone who is a survivor who may be more understanding of my condition. I have a Master’s Degree in English and I used to work as a teacher. I have also studied the arts extensively. I create survivor music and art. I am presently writing a survivor story to inspire other people who are striving to overcoming serious illnesses and emotional hardships not to give up. I am a member of SAG-AFTRA and my dream is to work on movie sets one day. I never used my membership, because I was working in another profession.

I have always had a lot of faith in God and have been part of the church. I presently perform in a local choir. My faith in God has helped me overcome extreme adversities in life. I am hoping to meet someone who wants a relationship who can accept me for who I am.
