I have gone out with a few people but I quickly realized that I am not ready for dating at this time. My experience in sharing my cancer diagnosis was not received well from a couple of people I went out with. I don’t believe that people with cancer have to date others who have or have had cancer.. I think many people are just uncomfortable and afraid of “what cancer is” and the stigma behind it. I am hoping that when I’m ready things will be much easier. Thank you for asking this question….it is something to think about and share with others.
