Hi, My name is Crystal and I was diagnosed with Ampullary Cancer in June 2017.  I finished treatment in March 2018 and going through rehab now to regain my strength.  I don’t really know what my future holds so I’m planning to make the most of whatever time I have.  I find it helpful to remember we are all terminal, those of us with cancer just have a more concrete reminder.  I’m currently on long term disability and using my time to get strong and enjoy life.  I’m hoping to travel (Norway is my next big trip) as well as visiting friends scattered throughout the country.  I have always worked at colleges and universities and will try a variety of different volunteer experiences now.  I am down-to-earth and genuine, enjoy the simple pleasures in life, love living near the mountains, and all kinds of community events.  I dabble with some arts and crafts, yard work and gardening, and love to read.  I hope I also get lucky in love as well as making new friends who understand living with cancer.
