Too many scammers on CancerMatch
I’ve been on CancerMatch for a couple of days and I have already received messages and connection request from several scammers (people claiming to be overseas, messages obviously copy-pasted with horrible grammar, claiming they have some out-of-the-ordinary job, asking for personal phone number right away, addressing me in a romantic way, etc.). I am sure it is just a matter of time before they try to steal my personal info or ask me for money.

It sucks. Can you remember those names or pictures that tried to contact you? That would be very helpful!
I heard a couple of stories now that match your description there.
I have been on this site for just a couple of hours, which put a red flag right away.-
Oh my goodness. I just joined and reading about all the scammers makes me pause if I should continue with this. I already have my boundaries set up in my head as a response to a scammer. But it is disheartening to know that there are scum who would prey on us at our time of recovery and hurt.
