Just starting a discussion for us all to introduce ourselves. I’ll start. I’m Irene. I have metastatic breast cancer stage IV. I was diagnosed in Sept 2019. I receive treatment at City of Hope just outside of Los Angeles. I have a great team there. I just went out on permanent leave from work due to chemo brain. This was very sad for me as I had a great job and was working on a pretty cool project. Now I need to research if I qualify for Medi-Cal and how to apply. Mostly I am trying to find out if Medi-Cal is as good as my current insurance or should I get COBRA, which is expensive. Today, I started a meditation group with my kids and we started with a 7-minute meditation. Great way to start the day 🙂
