It’s easier to avoid dating
I find it easier to get a CT Scan than to join a dating site..
The anxiety builds quickly and it’s easier to simply avoid the topic of dating. At the same time there’s the desire to be normal. Physically I am definitely not normal and deal with the medical issues which in turn causes the negative feelings of self worth.
I throw a block up at the idea of meeting a companion. It’s OK and I’m definitely not trying to seek a marriage, but then there’s that side of wondering could life be better if I shared time with someone the weeks I don’t have my teen sons with me. This is tough to break through it seems and I know I’m not the only one. My case isn’t special for many people suffer, it’s just mine.
