Retroperitoneal liposarcoma is a rare cancer silently attacking its host. It does not discriminate. Usually very difficult to treat because of location. and size of tumors. It is usually found by mistake whem being treated for something else. There is no rhyme nor reason according to the brightest minds in medicine. Most are found in stage 3 as mine was in May 2016, there is an extemely high rate of reoccurence as I found out just recently having my second resective surgery January 2nd 2018. The local recurrence has devastated me. I just joine this website and decided to start this group. Cancer does not discriminate so neither will I. All are welcome to share. A doctor at the Heck medical school at Southern California recently wrote an article after attending a world wide conference in Europe. ” A BEAST” I assure you it is!!! This is why I named it appropriately. Please help me beat the beast.
