Ok, so not anything hilarious, but perhaps my lesson to “be not prideful”:
My dad & his brothers all had Male pattern baldness. I was certain I would follow in a predictable fashion. But, by my late 40’s I still had a full head of thick curly brown-turning silver hair. Aha, I’d beaten genetic roulette! I was proud to show it off at meetings, sales calls, just wherever.
Enter me at 50, brain cancer chews in my brain. I elected to go head-on with old school radiation & temodar chemo.
radiation was more than originally planned..of course, right?
The treated areas never resprouted, so , another life example to teach me..be not Prideful.
Anyway, i realize that I don’t receive cultural gender bias as many others here do and hope I’m not offending those of you that receive such bias.
