* All this in Sedona, AZ, with Consulting Oncologist–MM only at Mayo on Shea Blvd. PHX, AZ.
* May-2011, age 77, Small ping-pong ball size tumor under skin on collarbone. Biopsy showed Plasma Cytoma.
* May-June-2011 Radiation daily. Tumor gone. Cancer Center in Flagstaff, AZ gave gas cards !
* June-2011 Hip bone Biopsy results-MM. From then to Remission in Sedona, AZ….Moved to San Diego, CA in 2016.
* 2011-2013 Dex., Velcade & Zometa during chemo. Neuropathy in legs during remission causing loss of balance and erratic gait. Now use cane or hiking stick when out and about in unfamiliar territory for rec., shopping, etc.
* Previously had Shingles shot (Not 100%), but prescribed Acyclovir during Chemo years. 4/2018–just got new Shingles vaccination at local Supermarket. Copay was $70.00 even on Medicare with insurance. Worth it !
* Chemo 2011-13. Started weekly, moved to Quarterly by 2013. Velcade, Zometa, DEX. I didn’t lose my hair ! !
* Remission 6-2013 to present. No prescription meds. OTC Fiber pills, Calcium, Super Beta Prostate (men only).
* SCT evaluated few times–Too old, 5% max for any improvement, and it is rough.
* On a long term ‘Watch and Wait’ deal for Revlimid.
* See Oncologist quarterly & blood test. Saw 11/5/2018-kicked out til 5/6/2019.
